100FM Music is DTV Perth’s online music stream and custom web player.
100FM Music is designed as a continuous online listening experience. The station focuses on familiar music, upbeat selections, retro pop, dance, classic hits and nostalgic tracks that work well as an internet radio stream.
The public player combines audio playback with a visual interface inspired by classic hi-fi equipment: stereo VU meters, a graphic equaliser section, transport buttons and a live news ticker.
Instead of a generic embedded audio player, 100FM Music presents the stream as a full visual front panel. The design is intended to feel closer to using a physical audio component while still working in a modern browser.
The player is built to scale across desktop and mobile displays while keeping the core visual layout stable.
On a desktop browser, the player shows the full interface with side advertising space, VU meters, volume and balance controls, track information and equaliser graphics.
On mobile devices, the interface scales down so listeners can open and use the stream without needing a separate app.
The stream is intended for background listening, workspaces, nostalgic music sessions and casual listening from connected devices.
